MRP Realty's Property Management branch was created four and a half years after the firm was founded. After acquiring and developing a portfolio of properties, offering superior property management became a more important component to MRP Realty's in-house services. As an Owner/Developer, MRP Realty understands the critical role that Property Management plays in protecting and enhancing the value of its properties. That is why MRP Realty made the commitment to take Property Management in-house and provide the resources necessary to create a 'best in class' standard.

MRP Realty's distinctive portfolio ranges from sophisticated Class-A office properties and suburban mixed-use parks to transformative new urban developments. MRP Realty's management team has worked together in Washington, DC and its surrounding market areas in various capacities for periods ranging from 10 to 25 years. MRP Realty currently has over 7 million square feet of commercial property under its management. By maintaining a moderate size portfolio of Class A product, MRP Realty can ensure that all its properties receive the proper oversight and attention from the management team, as well as routine involvement from MRP Realty's Principals.

MRP Realty's approach to Property Management to increase the value of the properties is broken down into three primary categories:

 
  1. Tenants- Ensuring first class customer service to all our tenants through a proactive approach and timely responsiveness
  2. Financials- Understanding the financial goals of our clients and closely tracking the performance of the asset to ensure those goals are achieved
  3. Operations -Protecting the infrastructure and systems of the project through reliable preventive maintenance and inspections and evaluating ways to further enhance performance through capital projects

MRP Realty is able to effectively deliver in each of these areas by hiring and training the best personnel in the market and maintaining moderate sized portfolios for each of our managers to oversee. This allows our managers to visit the properties on a daily basis and respond to all requests from clients and tenants in a timely manner.
MRP Realty managers work closely with leasing, accounting, construction, and engineering to oversee all aspects of the operations. This centralized approach ensures the property is run efficiently and allows our clients to contact one person for any updates or information required.   • Reviewing and making recommendations on real estate tax appeals
